The Material Solutions segment designs and manufactures heavy processing equipment, in addition to servicing and supplying parts for the aggregate, metallic mining, recycling, ports, and bulk handling industries. The Corporate and Other segment is involved in the controls and automation business, through the firm's parent company, Astec Insurance. The company was founded by J.
