Winpak Ltd. engages in the manufacture and distribution of packaging materials and related packaging machines. The firm operates through following segments: Rigid Packaging & Flexible Lidding; Flexible Packaging; and Packaging Machinery. The Rigid Packaging & Flexible Lidding segment includes the rigid containers and lidding product groups. The Flexible Packaging segment includes the modified atmosphere packaging, specialty films and biaxially oriented nylon product groups. The Packaging Machinery segment includes horizontal fill and seal machines for preformed containers and vertical form, fill and seal pouch machines for pumpable liquid and semi-liquid products and certain dry products. The company was founded on September 29, 1975 and is headquartered in Winnipeg, Canada.
