About XEC

The investment objective of the Fund is to provide long term capital growth by replicating, to the extent possible, the performance of the MSCI Emerging Markets Investable Market Index the Index, net of expenses... The Fund Under normal market conditions, the Fund will primarily invest in securities of one or more exchange-traded funds managed by BlackRock Canada or an affiliate iShares ETFs and or equity securities issued by issuers located in emerging market countries. The Index is an equity benchmark for Emerging Markets stock performance. It is a capitalization-weighted index that aims to capture 99 Percentage of the publicly available total market capitalization. Component companies are adjusted for available float and must meet objective criteria for inclusion to the Index, taking into consideration unavailable strategic shareholders and limitations to foreign ownership. The Fund uses an indexing strategy to achieve its investment objective.
